Oils
The ocean, for one who visits occasionally can be overwhelming - it's thunder and motion and it's changing moods would take a lifetime to fully comprehend. I found myself for a short time in the Queen Charlotte archipelago and through my paintings I have attempted to convey some of the emotion I experienced.

This series began with a commissioned lithograph. As interest grew I began working 'behind the scenes' with several important dance groups in Canada, and as Mimi Gely so aptly stated when she curated an exhibition of my work "It is alive! It sings! And it conveys all the spontaneous joy and exuberance of music and dance." This heartfelt response is what makes my artistic journey worthwhile.
